Basic Instructions - Lucid Chart Guide
The blue-topped boxes in the Lucidchart represent foundational instructions, benefits, and key considerations. While they can be adapted to fit specific project needs, they provide clear guidance and a structured starting format for planning and execution.

Information Gathering
The red-topped boxes in the Lucidchart represent where you fill out your information and start making design choices. Topics, Learning Objectives, Brainstorming, Content Choices, Assessment Methods, Communication between the Training and SME's, and what the project or measureable outcome will be are just some of the things that can populate this section.

Training Flow and Delivery
Each session now includes a clearly defined course flow, outlining:
-
Content Delivery: Assigned trainers and SMEs responsible for presenting the material
-
Lessons: All the lessons in the module
-
Resource Allocation: Specific tools, guides, and assets to support instruction
-
Learning Outcomes: A concise summary of expected knowledge or skills gained from the module
This structure ensures consistency, instructional alignment, and measurable impact across training sessions.

Define Cadence
The top of the Course Map, breaks down the Delivery and Cadence of the training based on the need, content and availability.

Course Development / Learning Plan / Training Guideline -
Planning Instructions
This is a partial example of a document made as a guideline for the training plan to be used by the Instructional Designers and Trainers with the SME's. It goes over organizing and prioritizing considerations, benefits, resources available and resources that might be needed. A proper needs assessment starting with the department heads is strongly suggested, followed by an assessment of the existing training (if any exists). CLICK THE IMAGE to view the document.
