This illustrates one of the layouts for Onboarding I created for the Netflix Animation Department when I was working in the Talent, Development and Outreach department.

This onboarding framework was developed for the Talent, Development, and Outreach department to support new hires entering the animation team. It was designed in collaboration with adjacent departments—including HR, Production, Technology, Company Culture, and Training—to streamline the onboarding process and eliminate common inefficiencies.

Key goals included:

🧭 Sequencing clarity: Prevent missteps such as new hires attending training before receiving their laptops or access credentials.

🔄 Reducing redundancy: Eliminate recurring onboarding hiccups caused by siloed communication and outdated processes.

📊 Centralized tracking: Establish a shared, trackable source of truth that allows all onboarding departments to view each new hire’s progress in real time.

🔔 Cross-departmental awareness: Ensure all teams are informed of updates or changes to onboarding procedures across departments.

This collaborative approach fosters alignment, improves preparedness, and enhances the overall onboarding experience for new hires.
