Project Management
One of the most important parts of Instructional Design is Project Management. Planning not only the analysis, design, and evaluation but sometimes the entire project itself, in as detailed a plan as possible. The Instructional Designer (ID) must help anticipate the resources needed, timeline required, budget necessary and delegation of tasks while communicating with all the stakeholders and subject matter experts (SME's) and keep all parties involved focused on the project goals.
